BIOGRAPHY
Steven comes from the UK and started his career as a university researcher in Economics,
first learning to program computers in 1964 to analyze statistics from his research and
to create simulation models. So started a lifelong fascination with IT.
After 4 years with a pioneering computer manufacturer, Steven
spent the decade of the 1970's in commercial IT and accountancy with Deloitte Touche in the USA,
followed by independent business consulting in UK and France.
In the 1980's he worked as CFO and later
CEO of a leading international developer of
design automation tools for electronics
engineering (sales $100 million
annually). Clients included many household
names (e.g. Apple, NEC, Phillips and Siemens).
Responsible for several international M&A and licensing deals.
In 1990's Steven semi-retired to France where he worked part-time in public
accounting as international tax counsel.
Now officially "retired" Steven enjoys publishing consumer advice websites in sectors of his own interests.
Steven and wife Mo live in South West
France but migrate south to escape
northern winters - visiting with family and
friends in Spain,
Singapore, Bali and
Australia.
